Audience
This is an online course aimed at emergency medicine professionals and will consist of a weekly topic area and 2 live case study discussions in Paediatric emergency care over a 11-week period.
Learning Structure
A new lesson is released every week, starting on Monday 20th January 2025, via the BASICS Scotland E-learning site. Participants will be notified through email when new content is available to view.
Learners will have 17 weeks to complete all sessions.

- Cardiology in Pregnancy and Paediatric Patients

- Cardiac Structural Disease

Live Sessions
All participants are encouraged to attend the live sessions to maximize the learning experience, interact with peers, and gain insights from real-world cases. Sessions will be recorded and made available to all learners within 48 hours of the live session.
Course Forum
We will run a group chat via WhatsApp where learners will be encouraged:
- Ask questions and share learning.
- Submit anonymized case studies for live session discussion.
- Suggest topics for upcoming live sessions.
